Workplace violence (WPV) in healthcare is an epidemic that has continued to grow during the Covid-19 pandemic. This webinar explores the cost of WPV to healthcare organizations, patients and healthcare workers and evidence-based interventions that can reduce the risk of WPV.
The relationship between organizational culture and success of violence prevention efforts will be discussed together with an approach to developing effective, sustainable WPV programs that meet regulatory requirements.
Freely available resources to assist healthcare facilities to develop and implement a WPV program will be highlighted.
